The Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) approach is already part of our DNA, which is why we act by including our stakeholders, employees and clients in initiatives aimed at informing them about all the decisive aspects of our activity.
We are proud of our transparency and integrity practices in all our relationships with our stakeholders, but we don't stop there. For example, in Environmental Management, Neutroplast is proud to be ISO 14001 certified with zero non-conformities, underlining our commitment to environmental excellence. Meanwhile, our people-centred approach is consistently recognised, as evidenced by our regular presence on Exame magazine's list of the best companies to work for.

In fact, at Neutroplast, ESG practices go far beyond intentions. We take care of the environment by harnessing solar energy, with around 20% of our energy consumption powered by our own photovoltaic panels, and we progressively reduce energy consumption per tonne of raw material processed, as well as drinking water consumption and minimising waste, with only 0.17% of raw materials not giving rise to a finished product. These 0.17% of unincorporated materials are in turn recovered through waste management companies so that they can be used in other products. On the other hand, we promote gender diversity in leadership positions and offer comprehensive health insurance to employees, as well as working under procedures aimed at achieving zero accidents at work. We are also actively involved in community initiatives that reflect our commitment to social responsibility and, in governance, we have implemented a robust Code of Ethics and Code of Good Conduct to prevent and combat harassment in the workplace, complemented by a whistleblowing channel on our website to facilitate the reporting of irregularities. Finally, all these actions are monitored on an ongoing basis, ensuring that decisions are made on initiatives that realise the company's performance in accountability and progress.
